Richard Baker, Head of Education and Youth
Richard returned to Oxfam to lead the Education and Youth team in 2013, having previously worked for the team from 2003 until 2009. He has also managed a Development Education Centre, taught Geography in two secondary schools and coordinated the Global Student Forum in England.

Liz Newbon, Education and Youth Adviser
Liz joined Oxfam in 2014, with varied experience of teaching and youth work in several countries including the UK, Pakistan, Brazil, New Zealand, India and Tanzania. She is passionate about inspiring young people to learn about, respect and take action for each other and the world around them. She has created learning material for a number of charities and also has experience of supporting educators in developing global school partnerships.

John joined Oxfam in 2008 after a lengthy career as a faculty head and humanities teacher in inner-city London secondary schools. He is passionate about supporting young people to apply their learning, creativity and passion to overcoming poverty.

Kate Lea, Education Resources Project Manager
Kate has over ten years' teaching experience in primary schools in the UK, Kenya and Malawi. She co-founded a charity to support children's work in Kenya, has written teaching resources for the Malawian ministry of education and facilitates links between schools in the UK and Africa.

Anne works in close partnership with six Global Learning Centres to influence decision-makers and support teachers, local authorities and universities to embed Global Citizenship within the Scottish Curriculum.

Victoria Leech, Education and Youth Adviser, Oxfam Cymru
Victoria was a secondary-school maths teacher in London and North Wales, as well as a volunteer teacher in Lesotho, where she developed her passion for Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship (ESDGC). Victoria now works to promote and support ESDGC in Wales.

Olivia Paine, Education and Youth Communications and Project Officer
Olivia joined Oxfam in 2015 after completing a Masters in International Relations and working for a homeless charity. She is passionate about social justice, environmental issues and using communications to inspire action. Her role at Oxfam includes maintaining the Oxfam Education social media accounts and blog.
William Essilfie, Education and Youth Adviser
Will has previously worked in a range of education roles including managing youth projects for a Development Education Centre, education projects for an arts charity, and teaching in primary schools. He has a strong interest in social justice education through the arts, and has conducted post-graduate research on this topic.
Susanna Griffiths, Education Marketing Manager
Before joining Oxfam in 2007, Susanna worked in a variety of marketing and publishing roles. She now manages the Oxfam Education website and looks after Oxfam's communications to teachers and schools. She is also a volunteer Oxfam school speaker.

Jo-Anne has worked with young people since 2004. Previously she was an English teacher and wildlife guide in France, and a waste reduction educator in Manchester. She loves seeing young people getting fired up about important issues.
