Leave a gift in your will

A gift in your will can make a vital difference to someone in one of the world's poorest countries. From giving children in rural Tanzania the education they deserve, to providing a reliable supply of water in a drought-prone area like Somalia, you can give people the chance to create a better life.

Leaving a legacy to Oxfam simply involves adding a short clause to your will.

could start and train a farmers' co-operative in Honduras, enabling them to learn skills like irrigation, harvesting rainwater and marketing their crops to help them feed their families.

could install a borehole pump engine. Once the borehole has been drilled, this essential piece of equipment pumps a reliable supply of water up to ground level.

could help start a small-scale food processing business in a poor country, to kick-start the local economy and provide jobs, bringing money into poor rural areas.

It's because Oxfam concentrates on breaking the cycle of poverty that I consider their work to be so valuable. They help people to improve their lives for good. That's why I've left a legacy to Oxfam in my Will. I can think of no better purpose.
