Oxfam's resources for the Early Years

A guide to Oxfam's print publications for the Early Years.

Bookshelves

Oxfam has a wide range of print publications for Early Years teaching. The resources support the curriculum at ages three to five and help young children to:

  • develop social awareness and willingness to cooperate
  • express needs, thoughts and feelings
  • develop self confidence
  • ask questions and solve problems
  • develop positive attitudes towards those whose gender, language, religion or culture is different from their own
  • care for the environment and for other people in the community
  • have a sense of wonder about the world

Download our leaflet to find out what our resources have to offer. All materials are coded by the key skills they develop: communication, language and literacy; knowledge and understanding of the world; multi-cultural understanding; and mathematical development.
