This resource helps pupils understand some of the issues involved in sugar cane production and compare and contrast these issues with the values Pepsi and Coca-Cola use to promote their brands.


It introduce pupils to Oxfam's Behind the Brands campaign and suggests how they could use what they've learnt to take informed and responsible action.

On 8 November, Coca-Cola announced that they'd listened to the 225,000 people who asked them to make sure the sugar they buy isn't produced on land grabbed from some of the world's poorest communities. Find out more.
