A week of activities exploring the 2006 World Cup, from the countries taking part to the trade issues behind the sporting glamour.
Using the World Cup as a starting point, pupils will focus on three themes throughout the week: competition, teamwork and thinking skills. They will also have the opportunity to develop their research skills while studying some of the countries involved in the World Cup finals.
You can pick and choose from the activities to create a tailored scheme of work around global football themes.
