Use these resources and video below with Sahena's Story to teach your students about the impact of climate change on poor people.

They challenges learners to understand climate change as a controversial and contemporary human crisis that requires action. It places the focus of the impact of climate change on the world's poor, especially women; and encourages active participate in a range of actions to address the crisis.

The questions raised by this resource provide an excellent opportunity for ongoing research, discussion and action drawing on resources from other websites, newspapers and TV. A list of references for teachers is included with the resource.
