These resources are suitable for ages 13-16 and can be amended to meet the needs of younger and older students.

This set of resources challenges learners to understand climate change as a controversial and contemporary human crisis that requires engagement and action. It places the focus of the impact of climate change on the world’s poor, especially women; and encourages learners to actively participate in a range of actions to address the crisis.

The questions raised by this resource provide an excellent opportunity for ongoing research, discussion and action drawing on resources from Oxfam’s and other websites, newspapers and TV. A list of references for teachers is included with the resource.
