Explore Success Stories in Sierra Leone

A resource exploring development projects in Sierra Leone.

This resource can be used as a classroom activity or whole school assembly.

Pupils are introduced to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which aim to reduce poverty. Through exploring short case studies and photos from Sierra Leone, pupils assess the progress towards the MDGs.

Ideal for a cross-curricular, stimulating lesson in Reading Comprehension and Citizenship, the activity asks pupils to assess the importance of development projects.
