Vegetable Gardens in Honduras

Angelina Mungia talks about overcoming a very bad experience to go on and become an agricultural promoter working with local community organisation OCDIH to help people set up vegetable gardens to improve their lives and give them income. This links well to the Learn activities in English looking at farming heroes, and also the Think taking action examples.

Women taking action in Honduras

This video shows examples of women organising to overcome the challenges they face together. It uses the examples of COMUCAP, bringing together small women farmers through coffee production and knowing their rights, and OCDIH and vegetable gardening to illustrate the potential of small women farmers.
