When it comes to international trade, there is one
set of rules for the rich countries and another set
for the poor countries. The rich countries have the
advantage.
The rich countries demand that the poor countries open
their markets and abolish importtariffs. Yet
the rich countries protect their own markets by imposing
import tariffs. These are rigged rules and double standards!
How will the world ensure sustainable production in
order to feed all its people, if one half benefits at
the expense of the other? We need to revise the trade
rules to ensure that they are fair for everyone.
