October Theme: Land

What is a land grab, and how do they affect small farmers?

Use our October monthly theme to help pupils explore the issue around access to land and large scale land purchases, and be inspired to take action as active Global Citizens.

You will find:

  • an presentation to be used in assembly / class to introduce the issues around access to land, with script
  • a short activity helping pupils understand the injustice inherent over land rights and land purchases
  • a guide for young people to take their own action (also found on our youth blog site)
