Out of the 57 million children worldwide who don't go to school, 24 million children have disabilities. Disability is one of the biggest barriers to completing an education and the focus of this year's Send My Friend to School campaign.

The aim of Send All My Friends to School is to ask world leaders to make sure that all children, including those with disabilities, receive an education. We're asking young people to get active by learning more about the issue, writing creative messages to their MP and holding an MP meeting.

Please register at before beginning these activities. Participating schools will receive free learning materials and a DVD.

Oxfam Youth Ambassadors

This resource is suitable for curriculum-based classroom learning but it has been written primarily for Oxfam's Youth Ambassador Groups. Youth Ambassadors meet in their own time (with the support of a teacher) to learn together about global issues, whilst developing the skills and the confidence to make their voices heard. If you are using this resource in an extra-curricular setting then we suggest you register as a Youth Ambassador Group. Registered groups gain access to our structured award scheme, badges and certificates, newsletters, all the latest resources and one-to-one support by phone and email.
