Mae'r diwrnod hwn o Ddatblygiad Proffesiynol Parhaus (DPP) yn cael ei roi am ddim ac mae'n agored i gydlynwyr Bagloriaeth Cymru, athrawon uwchradd, arweinwyr ysgol a llywodraethwyr.

Whether you're new to global citizenship or an experienced teacher, this exciting opportunity for professional development is for you. This free Continuous Professional Development (CPD) day is open to all Welsh Baccalaureate co-ordinators, secondary school teachers, school leaders and governors.

  • Ddysgu mwy am sut i gynnal sylw eich dysgwyr drwy ddefnyddio rhai o'r themâu allweddol sydd dan sylw yn Her Dinasyddiaeth Fyd-eang Bagloriaeth Cymru fel anghydraddoldeb, tlodi a Masnach Deg
  • Darganfod adnoddau dysgu a fydd yn helpu eich dysgwyr i ddatblygu sgiliau fel llythrennedd, rhifedd, meddwl yn feirniadol a chreadigrwydd drwy ddysgu am faterion yn y byd go iawn
  • Rhannu syniadau a dysgu o brofiadau cydweithwyr mewn ysgolion a cholegau eraill

Bydd y diwrnod yn llawn dop o syniadau ymarferol i ysgogi dysgwyr a chyfoethogi eu gwybodaeth, eu dealltwriaeth a'u sgiliau.

Bydd y cynnig hwn o ddiddordeb penodol i athrawon Bagloriaeth Cymru ac unrhyw athrawon uwchradd sy'n dymuno gwella ymarfer Addysg ar gyfer Datblygu Cynaliadwy a Dinasyddiaeth Fyd-eang (ADCDF) yn eu hysgolion.

Caiff y cyfle cyffrous hwn ei gyflenwi mewn partneriaeth â Chanolfan y Dechnoleg Amgen, Cyngor Addysg mewn Dinasyddiaeth Byd a Masnach Deg Cymru, a chaiff ei ariannu gan Raglen Addysg Ryngwladol y British Council.

Get to grips with the Global Citizenship Challenge

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • learn more about how to engage your learners with some of the key themes tackled in the Welsh Baccalaureate Global Citizenship Challenge such as inequality, poverty and Fair Trade
  • Discover learning resources which will help your learners develop skills such as literacy, numeracy, critical thinking and creativity through real-life learning
  • Share ideas with and learn from the experiences of colleagues in other schools and colleges

The day will be packed with practical ideas for motivating learners and enhancing their knowledge, understanding and skills.

This opportunity is of particular interest to Welsh Baccalaureate teachers and any secondary school teachers looking to improve the Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship (ESDGC) practice in their schools.

This opportunity is being delivered in partnership with the Centre for Alternative Technology, the Council for Education in World Citizenship and Fair Trade Wales and is funded by the British Council International Education Programme.
