Do you want to inspire pupils to seek positive change as active Global Citizens?
Oxfam Sparks is a series of three workshops facilitated by an Oxfam School Speaker where pupils will learn about a global poverty issue, think about what they can do to make a positive difference, then plan and take their own action.
Schools can request this series of 3 workshops for a choice of 4 different topics. They are:
Speakers can work with you to tailor sessions to suit your needs.
In the first session students will learn about the chosen topic and its relevance. In the second workshop, students will think critically about the issues and be encouraged to decide and plan an action to create positive change. Between the second and third workshop pupils can take some action about that issue. The third session will provide an opportunity to evaluate and reflect upon their action taking, and think about further opportunities to behave as active global citizens.
These sessions would be suit pupils from age 8 to 18.
