DIY: Lace Back Dress

Follow this simple DIY to transform a plain dress into something a little lacier!

You will need:

  • A dress
  • Sewing Machine
  • Scissors
  • Chalk
  • Pins

Step by Step

Step One: Take your dress and decide how far down you would like the dip at the back to go. Chalk the section and cut it out.

Step Two: You now have a backless dress- time to add in a lacey section. Measure the distance where you'd like the lace to go and cut to size, leaving a couple of cm either side.

Step Three: Pin the lace, sew into place and cut off any excess.



Step Four: You now have a gorgeous backless dress with lace detail!
