Footballers support Control Arms...

Just stumbled across this on the Control Arms site - a number of top premiership footballers have lent their support to the Control Arms campaign. As Chelsea star Claude Makelele says: 'All over the world, the out-of-control arms trade continues to cause suffering to innocent men, women and children. This must be stopped, with the help of an international Arms Trade Treaty.' More on the Control Arms website >>

but seriously it's great to see these guys son;t just kick a ball around and earn stupid amounts of money, but they care about making things better in the world too. nice one.
