Climate change will hit least polluting countries hardest...

Just been reading stuff on The Guardian website about climate change, and found this interesting (but slightly depressing) article. It shows how climate change - which is driven by pollution generated by rich countries - will impact most heavily on the world's poorest countries. According to a recent report, the least wealthy countries with the lowest greenhouse gas emissions are the most vulnerable. As the article says, "they can expect a doubling of deaths from malaria, diarrhoeal diseases and malnutrition by 2030 as a result of climate change". This comes as the Bristih government prepares to "to open the door for other nations to abandon setting compulsory targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions", as The Observer reported yesterday.
