Amir Khan visits survivors of the South Asia earthquake

Thought you might like to read about Amir Khan's recent trip to Pakistan with Oxfam. After six months Khan - who won the Olympic boxing silver-medal last year - returned to Pakistan to be reunited with survivors of the South Asia earthquake (You may have read about it in the Sunday Mirror recently). His last visit was in December 2005 and he was worried some of them would not make it through the winter: "The money that people raised made a huge difference," he says. "It helped survivors stay alive through the winter. I want all of us to remember the survivors and I want international governments to make sure that these people are not forgotten."
