DJ Shadow joins The Big Noise!

We were pretty chuffed this weekend when one of the Generation Why team got DJ Shadow to add his name to the Big Noise petition.

The hugely popular turntablist DJ invited Oxfam to campaign at the finale gigs of his six-month tour. We sent five voluntary campaigners to London’s Brixton Academy where they got free entry to the gigs and even managed to bag themselves tickets to the after-show party – all in the name of Make Trade Fair.

The campaigners proved their talents and got loads of signatures for the petition including the man himself. It’s just a shame their photography skills weren’t a little better – aren’t you supposed to get the face rather than the back of the head? Oh well.
