Smart kids speak up about Darfur
Yesterday, to help launch its £5m aid appeal for Darfur and Chad, Oxfam opened an art exhibition that helps bring you closer to living-conditions in the two country’s makeshift refugee camps.
Amongst some of the big news channels, Newsround was there to tell the story – most eloquently we think.

The art exhibition - described as a unique sensory experience - features powerful images from renowned war photographer Don McCullin. You can see these on the Oxfam website, or better still visit the exhibition.

Don McCullin spoke on the radio this morning, He explained that he did not create images to shock , but to help people understand.
He explained that he had never been asked to work with Oxfam before, so after 30 years photographing wars, news stories, he found it a great honour to work with Oxfam.
He explained that children were left waiting for a long time in 110 degree heat whilst mothers went searching for food and water.
He explained that the water that Oxfam and NGO were providing made a big difference to those that got it.
He was not so Optimistic that Africa's problems would improve, and that famine would continue.
When the rains do come there will also be problems.
