Hooked on Facebook? Love MySpace? Use your skills to change the world!
Oxfam is looking for someone who knows their Facebook from their Flickr (and their YouTube from their Google Video) to start a short term internship.
We need a volunteer who knows how to design a MySpace profile, tag videos in YouTube, and share pics in Flickr - but most importantly we need someone who can see the potential of sites like these to raise awareness about Oxfam's work.
This is a great opportunity to get experience of working for a development organisation like Oxfam, whilst using all the skills you may have gained outside work - like promoting bands through MySpace, or filming your mates in YouTube.
It's a flexible volunteer internship which could last from three to nine months, and could be three or four days a week - it's up to you. You'll be researching Oxfam's current presence on these sites, and supporting new activities too.
The deadline for applications is Monday 28 May (it's been extended from 14 May).
