STAND UP and SPEAK OUT against poverty
On 16 –17 October join millions of people across the globe to STAND UP and SPEAK OUT against poverty. Last year 23.5 million people across the globe stood up against poverty within a 24 hour period and set a new Guinness World Record.
The Global Call to Action Against Poverty and the United Nations Millennium Campaign are asking people to make a stand and demand that governments keep their promises to make poverty history.
