Wham bam thank you Oxjam
Oh woe. The month-long musical extravaganza of Oxjam has come to an end. *Sniff*. It was an amazing month with a veritable smorgasbord of music on offer. Gigs have been taking place all over the country, and even in venues as far flung as Papua New Guinea.
We’ve got sweaty in a basement with Fatboy Slim, had our hats on in Shoreditch, seen some talent in Stevenage, raved in Newcastle, chilled in Cardiff, moshed in Nottingham, had a revolution in Wolverhampton, break-danced in Bristol and viewed many an eclectic mix in the back room of a local pub.
A massive rapturous applause to everyone who took part. Figures aren’t in yet but we’re hoping to have raised a million pounds to help fight poverty.
Can’t face a month without any live music? Why not enter or competition to win Amy Winehouse tickets.
