Oxfam internship opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Media Assistant intern in Oxfam's lively Media team.
This internship is for a period of 3 to 6 months and requires a commitment of at least 3 days per week (though this can be spread between Monday to Friday)- Providing business support to the media team
- Maintaining appropriate electronic and paper systems for storing, distributing and retrieving information, keeping mailing lists updated, and researching media contacts
- Researching and keeping abreast of popular media trends
- Disseminating information including press releases and making follow up phone calls
- Responding to external media enquiries related to the PR team and wider Media Unit
- When appropriate leading on small-scale PR / media/celebrity projects
