Care about climate change? Want to do something about it?

The UK Youth Delegation (UKYD) is now accepting applications to participate at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Poznań, Poland this December.

UKYD are building a delegation of 15 young people who know that the climate crisis is one of the defining issues of our generation and who want to take action to stop it. If we want to reduce the threat of dangerous climate change and adapt better to the changes that are already happening, we need to get involved in the international decision-making process.

By joining them in Poland this December, you could help the first ever UK Youth Delegation have a strong voice in these negotiations. You will call on our government to take strong action, share important developments with people back home and connect with other 500 other youth delegates from around the world.

Get involved and End Child Poverty

"The government has made the promise of a generation - to end child poverty. Lets hold them to it"

One in three children live in poverty in the UK today, and without significant investment from the UK government this year, any progress on child poverty is at risk.

On Saturday October 4th 2008 thousands of young people, families and supporters of the Campaign from across the country will be coming together in London’s Trafalgar Square to demand the Government keep their promise to end child poverty. This promises to be the UK's biggest ever event to End Child Poverty.

Visit www.endchildpoverty.org.uk/poverty to find out more and join them.
