add your face to the million faces petition

Add your face to the Million Faces petition.

Grab your camera and get your ugly mug online for Control Arms.

The Million Faces petition is a visual petition - a collection of photos, face-drawings and portraits to show governments that we need effective and urgent action to control the arms trade.

And we need you to add your face right NOW - it's easy:

1.   Grab a digital camera (or your
mobile if it's got a camera).
2.   Write your name (and a message to world leaders) on your hand (have a look at our photos for some inspiration).
3.   Do your best 'my face is going to make a difference' face and snap.
4.   Go to www.controlarms.org to add your pic to the online gallery.
5.   If you haven't got a camera, there's a cool online drawing tool on the Control Arms site, so you can add a hand drawn portrait.
6.   Don't stop there! Tell all your mates too!
why am i doing this?

Because the arms trade is completely out of control - there are around 639 million small arms and light weapons in the world today, with limited regulations and excessive funding from UK and US governments. Without tighter control, such weapons will continue to fuel violent conflict, state repression, crime and domestic abuse.

While the UK government is supportive of an international Arms Trade Treaty, we need it to do more. We need to show that this is a top issue which the public cares about - forcing world leaders to sit up and listen.

Faces aren't just there to look pretty - use yours to show your support for Control Arms.
