Keane

Multi award-winning (and album-selling) tunesmiths Keane have lent their support to the Make Poverty History campaign in 2005.

The band are encouraged anyone who watched their lovely Comic Relief rendition of 'What A Wonderful World' to download the track from the Make Poverty History website and sign up to the campaign.

Angel-voiced singer Tom Chaplin said, ‘2005 is the year we can all make a real difference to millions of people. 30,000 children die needlessly due to poverty every day.

’As a band we're wearing the Make Poverty History wristband and we're asking everyone to join up .’

Keane also played at the tsunami appeal benefit concert at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium in January 2005, and have the Make Poverty History white band across the corner of their website (click here to find out how you can add the white band to your site).

So follow their lead – sign up to the campaign here
