Generation Why has teamed up with some gravity-defying breakdancers to tour the country and raise awareness about Oxfam and campaigns like Make Trade Fair and Make Poverty History.
If you’ve had your eyes peeled, you might have noticed a series of these one-off breakdance events – organised by Face – at universities up and down the UK, along with breakdancers from the Funkstylerz group.
The idea is that these breakdancers (kitted out in our exclusive t-shirts) fit in with what is fast becoming our motto here at Generation Why – to do what you love doing, but just change the world while you’re doing it.
So, if you like the look of these dizzying dance dudes, why not organise something based around what you love doing? For example, you could put on a club night that raises awareness about Oxfam or Make Poverty History, and also raises money at the same time.
Or, if you fancy yourself as a head-spinning, body-popping, back-twirling, hand-standing dancer, you could put on your own breakdance event – though you might be best to leave the dancing to the professionals…
