Oscar-nominated actress Minnie Driver has given her support to the Make Trade Fair campaign.
The actress, known best for her performances in blockbusters like Good Will Hunting, has been a very vocal supporter of trade justice.
She performed at the Make Trade Fair Live concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in September 2004, and travelled to Bangkok to meet the city’s first garment workers’ co-operative.

Minnie was also involved in the Make Trade Fair celebrity photo shoot, where celebrities from Bono to Michael Stipe were covered in commodities like wheat, milk and coffee.
The pictures highlight how rich countries and companies ‘dump’ on poor farmers every day.
”The poorest people with the least are making the sacrifices for those of us who have the most,“ says Minnie. ”I'm not a global economist but you just need some humanity to understand that this isn't fair.”
