mobile phones

Oxfam can turn unwanted mobile phones and their accessories into money to support work with people all over the world.

You know how it is - you've moved on. You're now with the latest model, and your old mobile phone, the one you used to love and take everywhere with you, is left at home, unwanted and abandoned. On the shelf.

But it doesn't have to be like this...your old mobile can have a new life, full of meaning and purpose. On average, each working donated handset is worth £5 to Oxfam - but some are worth much more.

clothes and gifts

With more than 700 Oxfam shops we are always looking of unwanted items that we can sell. We welcome any saleable items that you do not need or want, including clothing, books, CDs, records, tapes, items of bric-a-brac such as ornaments and pictures, crockery, linens, and toys.

printer cartridges

Empty printer cartridges can be recycled to earn money for Oxfam's work around the world. In fact, Oxfam raised over £36,000 through our cartridge recycling scheme in 2002. So don't throw them away! For every suitable laser cartridge received, LaserXchange will donate £2.00 to Oxfam, and £1 for every suitable inkjet cartridge.
