The rich world tells the poor world to get rid of subsidies, but continues to spend $1 billion a day subsidising its own farming enterprises. As part of the campaign to Make Trade Fair, Oxfam is calling for a comprehensive ban on agricultural export subsidies, which would end the cycle of over-production and export dumping by rich countries.
