The morning after...

All a little tired, but never to be defeated, the tireless campaigners spent a sunny sunday talking about making trade fair. The sun beamed on NASS, and so did the smiles on the faces of the Oxfam workers. A fantastically succesful weekend of scary sport and spreading the word about Oxfam. Thanks to everyone who made it down to see us this year, and to all those who signed our petition. There was a really good vibe in the tent - everybody who came in said it was lovely: great tunes, great campaigners, great sofas and great visuals (courtesy of our inspiring 'VJ' Anna - she went out in the morning to fiilm the skaters and bikers, and then mingled the pics in with her own Oxfam-inspired films). Some overheard snippets from the weekend:

"Ooooh, I like your van! Is it for sale?"
"Can I buy one of those Oxfam t-shirts?"
"Cool! Connect 4!"
"How cool is this place!?" beamed one skater dude to his mate.
"It's great that Oxfam is here this year," said another. "It gives the whole festival a more relaxed vibe. And it's good to get awareness for a really important campaign."

We'll have more pics up here real soon (just as soon as we get our camera back). But thanks again to everyone who signed up, got their Make Trade Fair tattoo and those of you who let us take your picture too! And a BIG THUMBS UP to our Oxfam volunteers and campaigners - you were awesome, dudes.
