Backstage at Glasto: Prologue!

This is the first of many (hopefully!) news flashes from backstage at Glastonbury! We'll be bringing you all of the news and gossip about VIP antics backstage. The festival hasn't officially started yet, but today the Make Poverty History press conference was held in Lulu's cafe in the VIP area. Michael Eavis said some fantastic words about why Glasto is so supportive of the campaign, and Emily was spotted in the background cheering him on. The first celebrity sighting of the festival was of Billy Bragg - yay! He's completely on board for Make Poverty History...look out for him supporting the campaign around the G8.

Apart from celeb spotting we have been taking full advantage of the toilets...ridiculous to get so excited over toilets, but they FLUSH! Yes, really!

We're knackered from our first day exploits so off to relax with some pear cider in Lost Vagueness(?!)...back again soon for some more vague blog-ness!

From your VIP campaigners (that's Vague, Indie-rock'n'roll, and Pint-drinking)
