Backstage: The Big Moment

Yesterday was the exciting Make Poverty History Big Moment at Glasto. Taking place simultaneously across the whole site, celebs such as Bob Gelof, Baaba Maal, Athlete and G-Love called on everyone to hold hands in the air to show their support for the campaign. Wow! If the G8 leaders don't listen to 150,000 muddy music lovers, then who would they listen to?!

One of your devoted VIP campaigners ended up in the wings of the Other Stage, cheering Baaba Maal on as he made his fantastic speech....definitely a moment to remember. Athlete and Baaba Maal stood shoulder to shouler on stage, and Athlete then played the stunning 'Wires' to finish the whole shebang off. Amazing.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Big Moment...we WILL Make Poverty History!!

Your very tired and smelly VIPintdrinking campaigners! :-)
