Make Trade Fair!

Good ol' Chris Martin paints his hand to support Make Trade Fair... And is that a white band we can spy as well?

I Heart Chris Martin! His is the only band my parents allow me to blast on my stereo! I agree with his political morals and social view. It doesn't hurt that he's handsome too!

hehehehehe! I LOVE HIM TOO! I love his baby, and one day, I might name my kid after her. She is so pretty! And his views on....life....and pretty much....that are equally paranoid and anxious towards mine...well....actually, his are probably more adult-like, considering he has a kid...another kid on the way (i think! CONGRADS!) and a wife whereas i still have eight grade and up waiting for me.....lol

and if i had money i would donate to MAKE TRADE FAIR and Make Poverty History....

It's the thought that counts

I think that his painted hand is a slap into thr faces of all of us generation x consumers who are aware of advertising strategies and coercion. How can a band that does not have to participate in advertising allow and sell their ringtones and such rubbish when we all know that telecommunications is an industry that controles and charges our right to communicate!!!!
He should take notes from more responsible bands like radiohead, otherwise they are just fake as fake microbrands are...

Chris Martin and the whole band is great, not only the sign in the hand of Chris tell us what are they doing, even the songs of coldplay, open our minds and make THINK!..to an entire generation

I have a huge respect for the social conscience raising that bands such as Coldplay are doing. I became aware of make trade fair through seeing Chris Martin's hand, although at first I thought it was a tattoo. I thought it was such a sweet symbol and the idea behind it was excellent, so I decided to get the same tattoo. Rock on Coldplay!!

Hardly anyone in the world today makes an effort to make a difference. We shouldn't criticize Chris Martin for showing that he cares just because some of you don't like how he's doing it. Its the fact that he's doing it that counts. The world today is slowly but surely turning against eachother, and Chris Martin is one of the kind souls that cares about issues in the world and wants other people to care as well. He isn't devoting his life to advertising it, he's just puts it on his body to show his character.

just glad that the thing on his hand has a social responsibility and it's removable!

Chris should also join MadV's one world campaign and write make trade fair on his palm, then post a video response to MadV.

Chris Martin is an amazing person and deserves all the success his great band gets. He is an inspiration to anyone who needs it
