Welly ache

mud and toilets - the perennial glasto challenges
I'm sitting on a sofa! My feet are clean! 24 hours ago (as Clare's feet, above, illustrate) neither of these things seemed possible.

Yesterday was *awesome*. I was campaigning on the last shift, from six till ten -- white bands and MPH T-shirts were flying off the stall, the sun was out, and we mud-surfed with our petition clipboards as Brian Wilson sang Surfin' USA and Bobby Gillespie moved us on up.

We had to force people out of the tent so we could finally close up, jumping around to Basement Jaxx while counting up the T-shirt money. What a night. What a crowd. What a great big lovely muddy weekend all round...
