Oxfam's summer tour: festivals review 2006
here comes the sun...
Hannah Cornford

Festivals reporter Hannah Cornford blogging from the campervan.

It's the end of the summer (sniff) and our little green campervan is all partied out and looking a little muddy. There's no denying she is still the tour bus to end all tour buses - this summer she's taken us on a magical festival journey that has been bigger and better than ever.

We've taken 144 campaigners, 2,500 stewards and 126 traders (not all in the campervan, mind you) to more than 14 different locations for a total of 16 festivals, clocking up over 3,000 miles on the way. It's certainly been one hell of a trek but we've enjoyed every minute of it.

Intrepid festivals reporter Hannah Cornford looks back at an amazing summer...

Loads of ace pics from hot and sunny Leeds.

We were there, talking climate change, selling wedding dresses and stewarding our socks off.

angry about poverty?
how angry are you about poverty?
All summer we were taking photos of festival-goers pulling angry faces - all to show how angry people at festivals are about poverty. We've got a gallery of nearly 700 terrifying faces - the best one as judged by us will win a year's worth of top CDs courtesy of Universal Music.
