Isle of Wight - but we're all red!
Well the Isle of Wight (IOW) festival has begun and what a glorious festival it is! Support for the Make Trade Fair campaign has already been huge - over 1,000 people have signed up to The Big Noise petition. Our campaigners returned from their first shift earlier today looking happy and a little sunkissed (hence the 'we're all red')!
We also kicked off our 'How angry are you about poverty' competition today so have been asking people to pull their angriest face for the camera. Despite the sunshine people have been happy to oblige - the prize is 52 CDs from Universal - so we thought we just had to get our campaigners in on the action (top). A gallery of all the photos will be online from Monday.
We're now relaxing beside our campervan (pictured) waiting for the first band to start on the Main stage. Tonight looks set to be a brilliant start to what hopes to be a fantastic weekend, if you have been lucky enough to get tickets don't forget to come and say hello - just look for the green van in the main arena!
