Isle of Wight over and out

What a weekend! The weather was gorgeous, as were all our lovely campaigners, and now that the novelty of showering indoors has worn off it's time to reflect on what I'm sure was a memorable weekend for everyone involved.

The video on the main stage went down a storm and 9,500 people added their name to the Big Noise petition for our Make Trade Fair (MTF) campaign. One of the musical highlights had to be Coldplay's closing set on Sunday - if you were watching it on channel 4 you may have seen our Make Trade Fair flag floating about amongst the crowd - and did you notice MTF written on the side of Coldplay's piano?

All the entries to our 'How angry are you about poverty' competition to win a year's worth of music were brilliant - so if you're not going to a festival this summer and would like to enter, don't forget to e-mail us your angriest looking face!

If you would like to see more photos from the festival keep your eyes peeled for our Isle of Wight photo story coming soon.

We don't want to leave!

Thought this was a lovely picture of Rose, one of our campaigners - it sums up everything we have been doing for the last three days! Support has been fantastic this weekend and everyone is returning from their last shift looking a little tired but happy. Can't believe it's almost time to go home, but not until we've had a well earned rest and seen Coldplay on the main stage later!
