We were there, getting muddy, taking photos of you lot and making sure everyone gave their support to Make Poverty History.
Glastonbury 2005 was the biggest (and the wettest!) ever festival – with some of the biggest names (Coldplay, Keane, Bellydance Superstars and the Desert Roses) and the biggest campaign behind it all – Make Poverty History.

There was the special ‘Make Poverty History moment’, at 4.00 pm on the Saturday afternoon. Everyone at the festival – from the stone circle to the Pyramid Stage – joined hands to draw attention to the Make Poverty History campaign. More about this magical moment on our Glastonbury 05 blog.
What else we got up to at Glastonbury…
There was the Control Arms unsigned bands tent, complete with cafe and the opprtunity to sign up to the Million Faces petition that calls for an international arms trade treaty.
The G8 coconut shy, where festival goers knocked the message of Make Poverty History into the heads of the eight leaders of the richest countries in the world.
Our intrepid Make Poverty History campaigners, selling t-shirts, pants and flags, and getting people to sign up to the campaign.
Our amazing Oxfam stewards. Oxfam provided 1,400 stewards for Glastonbury, and raised loads of cash at the same time.
