Just in case you thought we were having too much fun - yes, it's this muddy. And it rained A LOT this morning. The whole site is just different shades of brown. But it hasn't dampened that famous Glastonbury spirit...
Our campaigners have been simply awesome, rain or shine, this weekend. Well over 30,000 climate-conscious Glastonbury-goers have already signed our petition - contributing to over 50,000 I Count pledges to Stop Climate Chaos across the festival. Amazing stuff.
The scene from the Other Stage, 2.00 pm, Friday afternoon, when the heavens opened and we all got very wet indeed. Still, it wouldn't be Glastonbury without A LOT of rain, would it?
The Oxfam Sari Mela has to be the most colourful shopping experience of the festival - our fab volunteers are selling traditional Asian clothes (like saris, lenghas, and punjabi suits) all for under £15.
Our resident hat-seller (two for a fiver, in case you want some) in the Oxfam stall up in The Park - volunteer John Clarke, 26, from Oxford, modelling a very fetching red dress. Best moment so far? "Beans On Toast in the Leftfield Tent". Most looking forward to? "The Killers. Oh, and getting married in Lost Vagueness".
Just paid a visit to the Stella stall – the busiest shop on site at the moment. It’s the Oxfam shop that’s selling the exclusively-designed, Stella McCartney Glastonbury t-shirts for a bargain £30 – and all the profits go to Oxfam.
Ruth Nortey, 20, is the Oxfam volunteer on the stall: “They’re flying off the shelves today - we’ve sold hundreds. We’ve got 5,000 and it looks like they’ll go really quickly.”
Glastonbury is officially MASSIVE (for those of you who have voted in the poll on our homepage). There are SO MANY people here, and it's not even properly started yet. (So many in fact that we heard rumour that people will have to take their gazebos down to make room for the latecomers.) Crazy.
As we get ready for what promises to be an incredibly muddy Glastonbury, our heads are STILL buzzing from a magnificent Isle of Wight festival. Before we let go completely, here are some little pics of festival-goers getting tattoo'd for Oxfam - look out for our tatts during the rest of the summer...
Back from the Isle of Wight and in the office today after spending most of yesterday in the bath. Thanks to all our brilliant campaigners for their hard work and thanks most of all to everyone who signed our petition - we can make a difference. See you at Glastonbury!
After an incredible encore of Jumpin’ Jack Flash The Stones said goodnight. A fireworks display marked the end of an amazing Isle of Wight festival and we’re thrilled to have got over 10,000 signatures over the weekend for our petition against climate change.
Not washing for four days and obscene toilets - but this makes it all worthwhile. Seeing old snake-hips going past on a conveyor belt runway is a sight to behold and a legendary rock experience. Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie showed us that age is not a barrier when it comes to bringing the house down. A phenomenal end to the Isle of Wight festival, the Rolling Stones most certainly delivered.
It’s great to see people buying the local Isle of Wight produce. It's just one thing you can do to have a greener festival experience. For more tips read Your Say writer Gareth Jones' greener festival guide.
The Stones. Overnight the stage has been expanded to include a giant catwalk in preparation for Mick and co. People are already saving their spots for tonight and basking in the glorious sunshine.
Our team of campaigners have been asking people at the Isle of Wight festival to sign our petition to make sure Gordon Brown’s government fight for a new global climate deal at the UN Climate Change Conference which takes place in Bali in December. Loads of super people have signed already, so thanks for your support!
The main arena was packed and, after a blinding set by Kasabian, Muse put in the best performance of the festival so far. There was an awesome light show and they released huge balloons into the crowd during Plug In Baby.
It’s saturday afternoon and loads of nice folk are coming to the Oxfam tent to adorn themselves with our temporary tattoos. It’s a scorcher out there - so watch out for whistle shaped tan lines people!
The gates to the main arena have just opened and the fun is just beginning. We've been out and about all day meeting happy campers and getting them to sign our petition on climate change.
Sleeping bag...check. Bog roll...check. Flip-flops...check. Now we are all set to kick off the summer season at the Isle of Wight festival. We'll keep you up to date on all the action as it happens - and if you're lucky enough to have tickets we'll see you there!
