Live at the Egg

music4life review: 08/10/04

The 2nd instalment of music4life has been delivered. The Egg, Kings Cross was the place to be as clubbers from across the UK came together to support Oxfam by dancing, drinking and generally having a good time.

The Fairtrade mark

DJ ach spinning his tunes

DJ each and Radio 1’s Chris Coco kicked things off with some electro house beats followed by Andy from Inland Knights with his classic house grooves. The Amalgamation of Soundz (famous Fabric residents), Dave Mothersole and many others kept things going till the early hours with some funky and chunky old school beats.

Everybody was getting down, and not just on the floor, there was boogieing at the bar and even some sexy styling on the poles! With two rooms, three bars, a record stall and a great atmosphere there was never a dull moment.

Music4Life supported Oxfam’s Control Arms campaign, with revellers given the chance to sign up and make a difference. Oh and they also got free matches!
