In support of Oxfam and to help raise awareness of the charity’s campaigns, the second annual Christmas Fair will be held at 93 Feet East on Sunday 17th December 2006.

Hosted by Film Noir, the Christmas Fair will sell records, books, bizarre bric-a-brac, cakes, jams and other donated items. The perfect place to buy a low-cost Christmas gift, the Christmas Fair will offer fantastic donations from labels & record shops as well as quirkier off-beat items brought in by members of the community.

93 Feet East & Film Noir are asking their patrons and interested members of the public to help them make the most of this event by BRINGING IN QUALITY UNWANTED ITEMS. RECORDS, CDS, BOOKS, CLOTHES, HOMEMADE JAM, BIZARRE BRIC A BRAC, anything that might sell. Items may be brought to the venue in the run up to the event and on the day.

To help create a festive atmosphere the event will feature sets from some of the electro/electro-house & rock scenes’ best DJs. The Fair will be open during the busy Brick Lane Sunday market and continue until the evening, with shoppers being encouraged to hang out, enjoy the DJs and a cocktail, browse through the goods on offer & bring saleable donations of their own.

Film Noir’s Helen Noir says “Film Noir is thrilled to be involved once again with such a great Christmas event and at the same time support Oxfam in their invaluable work. We will be working hard to make sure as many people as possible come through the door to enjoy the Fair and help support Oxfam”.
