We're always looking for young, talented writers to write for us and contribute to our Your Say section.

keyboard We want to hear what you think about global issues, things that are really getting to you and events you have been to. Become one of our website writers and we will give you guidance about what to write and help you edit it. Articles will appear regularly as Generation Why features.

What kind of stuff do we want articles about?

We’ll publish articles on the things you're passionate about - including global issues, ethical living and Oxfam's work - and we’ll give you ideas for features too. Articles could range from what you think about a campaign to a review of a club night.

3 good reasons why you should become a writer for Generation Why

1: It's great for your CV. You'll have your work published, which will be great if you want to become a writer or journalist.

2: You will receive writing advice from our experienced editorial team.

3: You can share your ideas with other readers, and help to inspire and motivate people to get involved with campaigns.

What should you do now?

If this sounds like you simply write 200 words on your particular take or opinion on one of Oxfam's issues or campaigns.

Send your piece to us at generationwhy@oxfam.org.uk (plain email or Word documents only please) with the subject header 'Write for Generation Why'.

Make sure you include your name, age, a contact phone number and, if possible, an electronic photo of yourself. We'll be in touch soon afterwards, initially by e-mail.
