Stand up for small-scale farmers

Tonight, one in seven of us around the world will go to bed hungry. It's a huge injustice that must be addressed. 

For small scale farmers with the right tools, training and investment, the sky's the limit. Small scale farmers like Betty in Kenya, pictured above, already feed nearly one-in-three people on earth. Betty has joined a co-operative, which means she can pool her resources with other farmers to grow more food and secure fairer prices.

Helping small-scale farmers to grow more is the best way to make sure everyone has enough to eat.
