Over the next 3 weeks politicians and political party members will be gathering for their annual party conferences.  Party conferences are a fantastic opportunity to influence decision makers and have your voice heard on important issues.  This year we are inviting Oxfam activists and constituency campaigners to get involved in our campaigning at the three main UK party conferences.

The good news is that one of these events, the Liberal Democrat Conference, is taking place in our London and the South East patch - Brighton.  If you live in or near Brighton and would like to get involved, we can support you to attend fringe events where you could get the chance to put questions directly to those in power.  If you live in or near Brighton and would like to get involved, please email mikesmith@oxfam.org.uk.

If you are not able to attend in person, do not fear!  We will also be sending round regular updates during the conferences highlighting the latest goings on regarding Oxfam's issues, upcoming events and ways you can tweet from the comfort of your computer or smart phone to engage politicians and journalists at conference.  If you'd like to receive these updates, please email mikesmith@oxfam.org.uk.

This year, the 3 major UK political party conferences are taking place:
Liberal Democrat Party Conference, 22 - 26 September, Brighton
Labour Party Conference, 30 September - 4 October, Manchester
Conservative Party Conference, 7 October - 10 October, Birmingham
