Fashion Show

A big well done to fundraisers in Sutton Coldfield for their Fabulous Fashion Show which raised an amazing total of £680! The Fashion Show showcased an array of vintage and renewed garments for both men and women and proved to be a big winner with the crowd.

The event managed to draw in a large crowd who were able to enjoy the show whilst tucking into delicious cakes and tea and listening to a local DJ. Models took it in turns to exhibit the clothes and highlight how each outfit can be worn. After the show guests were then invited to browse the rails to buy the vintage fashion, most of which had been donated for the cause.

Along with the fashion show some great raffle prizes were on offer. A box of chocolates donated from Sainsbury's, a Stadium Tour of Aston Villa, a Hair voucher from Francesco's, dinner at The Boathouse Restaurant plus flowers and wine made up some of the fantastic gifts on offer.

Show organiser Katie Nash says: "It was really fun to do and it makes a change doing something worthwhile with your summer....It was hard work but definitely worth it."

We would like to say a big well done and thank you to Katie and friends for putting on such a fun and successful event, as their contribution will make a significant difference to people in poverty worldwide.

If you and your friends are thinking of putting on a similar event or just want to do something for fun to raise money for charity please do not hesitate to get in touch. We have loads of great ideas and tips on the website under Get Involved à Fundraising.
