Do you feel you could offer more in times of crisis? Are you passionate about taking action when a catastrophe occurs? Oxfam are forming a team of Emergency Fundraising Coordinators across the Midlands to take action immediately following humanitarian catastrophes. Could you be one of them?

As an Emergency Fundraising Coordinator you will work as and when crises (such as the Haiti earthquake and the Pakistan floods) occur, raising essential funds for Oxfam's emergency response work. This will involve organising and publicising small-scale fundraising events and activities, promoting Oxfam's emergency response work and encouraging the community to get involved. Recruiting and organising a small team of volunteers to help with this, you will join forces with local community groups and businesses, getting them inspired and involved with emergency fundraising. Making arrangements with local councils and organisations, you will also put on cash collections in public spaces, such as shopping centres and train stations.

The Oxfam regional team will be on hand to offer training, help and advice every step of the way to make sure that you are fully supported when taking on this important and exciting role. The necessary resources and materials will be provided, along with out of pocket expenses.

Looking for a chance to learn more about of the world's leading charities? After a unique opportunity to develop existing skills whilst gaining experience in fundraising? Taking on this exciting role, you will see the tangible results from your fundraising activities, knowing that every penny raised will go to help those in desperate need. This is a great chance to work not only as a member of your local community, but also as part of the wider Oxfam community.

Want to make an important contribution to Oxfam's life saving work? Become an Emergency Fundraising Coordinator and help Oxfam respond to emergencies when they occur.
