Welcome to the new 2013 Stewarding Website

Posted by Leigh Bazan Stewarding Coordinator at Oxfam

23rd Jan 2013

Kick-starting a whole host of online activity for us in 2013 is the launch of our brand new stewarding website at www.oxfam.org.uk/stewarding.  This is just the start of lots of changes planned to our website and application system this year so please bookmark our homepage and keep checking back for all the very latest info.

The new stewarding website is part of a wider plan to bring all of Oxfam GBs online content onto the same website platform, all under the same banner. This brings with it many advantages, a few of which being the fact that we can take advantage of the single Oxfam user account available right across the website including the shop, and also a whole host of community features over the coming months. In-line with the whole of our new Oxfam GB website it is also fully optimised for mobile browsing, which will be good news to a lot of you!

We'll update you on here with important dates as we confirm them, but as a guide 2013 applications will open on;

  • Public Applications open online- Mid March
  • Priority Applications open online - Early March*

*Priority applicant status is given to all people who have stewarded with us in the last four years. If you have stewarded successfully at one or more festivals in the last four years you will receive an email from us ahead of applications opening with details of how to apply.

As always, if you have any comments or suggestions, please get in touch at stewards@oxfam.org.uk. We hope you're all looking forward to another great summer!
