Want to steward with Oxfam?

As the majority of our 2013 festivals are now over and the planning for 2014 festivals is well underway we wanted to update you with how to get involved if you are interested in joining our team later in the year or in 2014.

Oxfam Stewarding is available to anyone interested in supporting our work, whether they have been Oxfam supporters or volunteers in the past or they are newcomers, so you would be very welcome to join us!

Many of our volunteers choose to return year after year, and we increase the number of stewards we take to festivals and events each year, so we're really keen for lots of new stewards to apply. Overall we have more than 5,000 stewarding places available and we'd love you to join the team.

We have one festival left for 2013 - the Freeze Festival is in London from 27th November to 1st December. Accommodation is provided and it promises to be a lot of fun! Stewards who successfully complete shifts at Freeze - along with stewards who have volunteered for us in the last four years - will receive a priority application for Glastonbury in the new year, which gives you a head start on other new volunteers and increases the likelihood of you securing a Glastonbury place.

You can see more about the Freeze Festival here and apply to volunteer here.

Our list of 2014 festivals and events will be made available on our website in the new year. In the mean time, why not check out our website for more information and do the following:

Thanks again for wanting to get involved and support our work in this way, it is greatly appreciated and it would be great to have you on board!
